Schedule of Shivratri Bhajans in Mumbai Mahashivratri Yagna at Dharmakshetra AUM SRI SAI RAM
With the ever flowing Grace of our Beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, ‘Rudra Yagna’ has been organised on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri - March 2nd 2011 at Dharmakshetra, Mumbai .* The Yagna will commence at 8:30 am. Brief over view of the programme 8:00 am Sankalpa Pooja, Guru Ganesh Pooja, Svasthi Vachanam 8:45 am to 10:00 am Acharya Rithvick , Eleven Rudra kalash Prathishthapana, Mahanyasa Japam 10:30 am to 12:00 noon Rudra Abhishekham 12:00 to 1:30 pm Rudra Havan & Vasordhara, Poornahuthi, Mangala Aarti Significance of the Maha Shivaratri & Yagna :* Bhagawan says “Spend the fourteenth day of the waning moon with Shiva,reaching the climax of spiritual effort on that final day, and success is yours. That is why all the Chaturdasis (fourteenth days of the dark half of every month) are called Shivaraathris (Shiva’s nights); that is why the Chaturdasi of the Magha month is called Mahaa Shivaraathri.” The *Yagna *is performed by several holy *rithviks *by chanting *Rudra Namakam and Chamakam *with sincere devotion to Lord Sai Shiva. This* *will be highly helpful to restore the Nature’s rhythm of natural seasons, reducing environmental pollution and damage, fighting evil forces preserving the natural equilibrium; and providing welfare of humanity and world peace.
