Special Bhaian Concert titled ‘BHAKTI-JUNCTION' on 7.2.2015, SATURDAY) at Dharmakshetra 6 pm to 7 pm by Sis. Renu Gidoomal.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Saprem Sairam. With the blessings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are happy to announce a special Bhajan concert by Sis. Renu Gidoomal on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Dharmakshetra. (Many of us would recall Sis. Renu was singing with the guitar last Sunday (Feb 1, 2015) during the Laksharchana at DK).
Renu Gidoomal is a London-based, multi-talented singer known for her powerful vocal style that brings together sounds from the East and the West. She combines traditional Bhajans with Sufi and interweaves them with fusion music to bring a truly unique devotional singing experience. Born in Kenya, East Africa, Renu Gidoomal has lived and worked in London, Dubai and Manila, and throughout Asia. Her corporate management experience in the field of holistic medicine and health, and charity work adds a depth to her vocal delivery, fusing the spiritual and the secular in her music and talks.
Renuji has several professional solo devotional albums comprising largely of her own original compositions (lyrics and melody). Dear-Soul, Sai-Prashanti, Summer-Showers, Bhakti-Junction, Chitta-Chora are just a few of her albums. Most of these compositions (lyrics and melody) are by Renu herself.
Over the past 25 years Renu Gidoomal has given concerts in many countries including Dubai, Hungary, Kenya, Latin America, Latvia, London and throughout the UK, Malaysia, New York, Oregon, Philippines, Poland, Prague, Russia, Vancouver, and many other countries. Renu has performed backing vocals and co-written lyrics for Blues diva Dana Gillespie in several of her albums.
Sis. Renu has been a long standing devotee of Bhagwan and she has the uncanny inimitable style of interspersing her musical presentation by sharing numerous experiences with Swami.
The Date - February 7, 2015 (Saturday) 6-7 pm at DK is bound to be a unique devotional divine journey and not to be missed. This garland of devotional songs is a humble offering as our gratitude and love to SAI. Let us all come together during this grand year with family and friends to celebrate the 'Bond of Divine Love’ that strings us all into a beautiful garland of humanity through various events during the 90lh year of the Advent of the Avatar of our Age and 50" year of our organization.
Request your help and support to kindly announce this in your Samithis so we have as many devotees attending this event as possible to benefit from this unique concert.
