DHARMAKSHETRA-REFLECTION OF DIVINE LOVE THROUGH EDUCARE, SOCIOCARE AND MEDICARE
To millions, "Sri Sathya Sai" is not only a friend, philosopher and a guide but also the Saint, the Seer, the Super human and almighty personality performing multidimensional roles by serving the society, the Knowledge Facilitator, a Complete Leader, the World Redeemer, the Universal Communicator, the Social Architect of the Millennium and the Strategist- loving, serving and uniting all, at all times.

Dharmakshetra is the spiritual lighthouse established by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in May 1968, on the eve of the First World Conference of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation and it stands as a miracle of Baba's Divine Sankalpa. This architectural breathtaking beauty which was built in exactly 108 days stands magnificently over a hillock and it serves as a reminder for mankind to embark upon the path of Righteous Conduct. Dharmakshetra symbolizes the core message of Bhagawan to mankind, i.e to embark upon Dharma.
Dharmakshethra, sometimes
called Sathyam, is one of three special spiritual centres
established by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the others being Sivam in
Hyderabad and Sundaram in Madras. These three spiritual centres are
visible manifestation of his mission to revive spiritual India.
Sathyam, Sivam, and Sundaram are the attributes of Divinity within
and without.
Dharmakshetra translates to the human body, which is kshethra, (the
place) where Dharma (right conduct) occurs. Over the decades since
its existence Dharmakshetra has been by now witnessed to innumerable
miracles of Bhagawan Baba.

Bhagawan Baba has often described Mumbai as the stomach of India. Prime needs of the body has to be met before the aspirations of the soul becomes overpowering.
This is the abode of Bhagawan whenever he visits Mumbai. Over the years Bhagawan lived in Satya Deep and charged it by powerful vibrations. This is a place which is not only holy but also where the divine vibrations are emanating constantly. Dharmakshetra is the place of righteousness, of eternal joy and bliss. Hence it rightly called "Teerth Sthan" which means "Holy Place". Dharmakshetra as a Teerth Kshetra is an idea which Bhagawan gave.
The sacred vibrations will touch the conscience of each and every soul who visits this place with reverence and will bestow a sense of fulfillment, peace and also raise the level of "Consciousness" or "Awareness"
Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23, 1926 in the village of Puttaparthi, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India. Even as a child, His spiritual inclination and contemplative nature set Him apart from other children of His age, and He was known as ‘Guru’ and “Brahmajnani’ (knower of Brahman or Godhead) among His peers and others in the village. However, it was not until October 20, 1940, the day He made the historic declaration of His Avatarhood, (Avatar - Divinity Incarnate) that the world at large learnt of this divine phenomenon. Today, millions of devotees from all over the world, professing various faiths, and hailing from various walks of life worship Him as an ‘Avatar’, and an incarnation of the Sai Baba of Shirdi. Thousands gather every day at Prasanthi Nilayam, His ashram established beside the village of Puttaparthi, for His Darshan, when He moves among devotees blessing them and providing spiritual succour and solace.
Revealing the purpose of His Advent, Sai Baba has said that He has come to re-establish the rhythm of righteousness in the world and repair the ancient highway to God, which over the years has systematically deteriorated. In His own words, “This Sai has come in order to achieve the supreme task of uniting the entire mankind as one family through the bond of brotherhood, of affirming and illuminating the Atmic Reality (Atma – The Self) of each being, to reveal the Divine which is the basis on which the entire cosmos rests, and of instructing all to recognise the common Divine Heritage that binds man to man, so that man can rid himself of the animal and rise up to the Divine, which is the goal.”
Unknown to many, Bhagawan's Divine love is engaged in sustained and selfless service for the past eight decades, inspiring millions of people to transform themselves. Young & old, the mighty and the deprived, rich and poor have all been drawn by this ocean of love, for they are convinced that LOVE alone can solve the most knotty problems humanity now faces, by transcending the narrow boundaries of caste, language and religion.
There is not
a single sector of social life which has not benefited from His
healing touch. He finds time to perform marriages, name babies,
perform the thread ceremony, reform and spiritualise education,
provide food and medical relief and organise aid during calamities.
His concern for humanity and human virtues gets translated into
everyday action. On special occasions he clothes and sumptuously
feeds the hungry. At all time, even in the midst of His heavy,
hectic schedule, He speaks with great love to everyone making them
immeasurably happy. His work is stupendous in conception, timely and
steady in its realisation, and victorious in its results. “This
Avatar will not fail in its Mission,” He says for “everything
happens by My will.”
Sathya Sai Baba is a highly revered spiritual leader and world
teacher, whose life and message are inspiring millions of people
throughout the world to turn God-ward and to lead more purposeful
and moral lives. His timeless and universal teachings, along with
the manner in which he leads his own life, are attracting seekers of
Truth from all the religions of the world. Yet, he is not seeking to
start a new religion. Nor does he wish to direct followers to any
particular religion. Rather, he urges us to continue to follow the
religion of our choice and/or upbringing.
Sathya Sai Baba interacts with all people on a heart-to-heart basis.
There are no intermediaries between himself and those who yearn for
knowledge and experience of God. Every day for more than almost
seven decades, Sathya Sai Baba has walked among and talked with the
spiritual pilgrims who gather around him in increasing numbers. He
offers solace and inspiration to all sincere seekers of truth. One
of the injunctions in the Nine point Code of Conduct is to do (seva)
selfless service to humanity. By example He has done extensive work
on Education, Health Care and Water Supply to villages free for all.
Sathya Sai Baba has given His life, selflessly and magnanimously, to
the service of mankind.
Sathya Sai Baba places great importance on proper education for
young people. Parents and community leaders are urged to concern
themselves with the informal as well as the formal experiences to
which their children and young adults are exposed.
He has established a model education system, which includes primary
schools, secondary schools, and an accredited university with three
campuses, (Puttaparthi, Whitefield, and Anantapur).
Health is an essential requisite for man; it is the very root of all
endeavor in the four fields of human achievement: dharma, wealth,
desire, and liberation.
“Puttaparthi has become the cynosure of all eyes in the world. Above
all, you should enquire why a highly sophisticated and most modern
hospital, which should be located in a well-developed metropolis,
has been set up in this rural area. The wealthy can go anywhere and
get medical relief with their abundant resources. But the rural poor
cannot go far from their villages for treatment. It is for the sake
of such poor folk that this hospital has been established. This is a
gigantic project. It is intended to benefit people for a thousand
years. This hospital has been set up to provide relief to villagers
suffering from ailments. No distinction is made, however, between
villages and cities. Diseases do not afflict only villagers.
Sickness makes no territorial distinctions. Likewise, there will be
no differentiation in providing relief. Our intention is to provide
relief to all who come, without any charges whatsoever”.
“Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, and let the
glory of God be sung in all the languages and in a variety of tunes.
That should be the ideal. Respect the differences between the faiths
and recognize them as valid as long as they do not extinguish the
flame of unity.”
Cultivate a nearness with me in the heart and it will be rewarded.
Then you too will acquire a fraction of that supreme love. This is a
great chance. Be confident that you will all be liberated. Know that
you are saved. Many hesitate to believe that things will improve,
that life will be happy for all and full of joy, and that the golden
age will recur. Let me assure you that this divine body (dharmaswarupa)
has not come in vain. It will succeed in averting the crisis that
has come upon humanity.”
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is thus a beacon of hope in a world that is desperately seeking an end to the unrest and sorrow prevalent today. His message of “Brotherhood of Man and the Fatherhood of God” is a spiritual salve that will lead mankind from the darkness of ignorance to the light of immortality. Indeed, very rarely does such a divine power walk the earth. As one devotee said, “Bhagawan Baba is nothing but Love walking on two feet”. Mankind must use this golden opportunity to follow in His footsteps. That is the way to its redemption and its salvation.

Today the WORLD has RECOGNIZED & EXPERIENCED the presence of a POORNA AVATAR in SATHYA SAI BABA in PUTTAPARTHI!!! The tens of millions who've been going there for the last so many decades have clearly understood that the SECRET OF LIBERATION ITSELF IS PRESENT THERE.
